About CDTI Military Combatives Programs

Hand-to-hand combat or Combatives, is an engagement between two or more persons in an empty-handed struggle or with hand-held weapons such as knives, sticks, or firearms that cannot be fired. Proficiency in Combatives is a fundamental building block to personal survival: either in the streets as a civilian or on the battle field as one of today's modern soldiers.

Purposes of Combatives Training: Individuals must be prepared to use different levels of force in an environment where conflict may change from low intensity to high intensity over a short period of time.
