CDTI Grappling

All reality based self defense programs must have ground grappling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a foundational component. Most trainers believe that a majority of fights may end with both combatants fighting on the ground. At CDTI we use sport type Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as the foundation on which to build a reality based grappling program. Once students grasp the fundamentals of grappling they are then able to transition to more advanced applications such as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Military and Law Enforcement personnel have the option of learning ground grappling while wearing common issue combat uniform (Full-Kit Grappling) or Duty Belt (Sam Brown).
